This is how Foot District lived Dashape 2016

Last weekend on May 6th and 7th, Foot District had the pleasure of participating in the third edition of the most anticipated sneaker event of the year: DASHAPE.

20160506-Dashape-19For those of you who didn’t have the opportunity to attend this year, we’re going to share with you our experience.

Just like the previous edition, this year it was celebrated in one of the attics of Chamartin station, which saw over 6,000 attendees, who enjoyed the more than 50 exhibitors at this event.

20160507-Dashape-13These exhibitors were divided into two areas. In one of them you could buy current sneakers and in the other collectors were in charge of offering more limited, vintage products.

20160506-Dashape-38Our stand was set up in the first area to offer up our best products and it’s where we had the chance to meet new people and put a face to many of you.

D094We took advantage of this special occasion to also launch the long-awaited Raw Sox LTD x Foot District collaboration, our limited edition socks.

Besides sneaker stores, the buying and selling area was also filled with several brands of streetwear that offered perfect accessories for your sneakers. As if it were a secret room, on one side of the room you could access the Sneaker Expo, in which you could enjoy spectacular models from Sanne Poeze’s collection, better known as @girlonkicks.

20160506-Dashape-76 20160506-Dashape-96An event like this couldn’t leave out street art, and under the hashtag #Dashapesneakerart we could witness an exposition of custom sneaker boxes done by various artists such as @Jace_1977 or @Soaptwo.

We also can’t forget the presence of one of the most important sneaker customizers of the moment: @panda_custom_sneakers who, from the hand of Mahou, created this spectacular Nike Air Max 1. Watching him in action was a true experience.

20160507-Dashape-57Want a break? You could move on over to Dashape Plaza, a space created in collaboration with La Bicicleta Café in which you could enjoy food and drink along with live music. You also had the chance to get one of the official Dashape t-shirts or watch how the guys from Montana Colors livened up the event.

20160507-Dashape-25We want to thank the organization for the great treatment as well as all those who visited our stand. If you were at Dashape, share it with us using the hashtag #footdistrict.

We’ll see you at Dashape 2017!
