Three uppers in one? Check out the latest Wings+Horns x New Balance collaboration

20 years have already passed since the first New Balance MT 580 went on sale in Japan, and to celebrate this New Balance has joined in a collaboration with the Canadian menswear brand, Wings+Horns, that was also born in Japanese territory, leaving us with two new Wings+Horns x New Balance as a result:

New-Balance-X-Wings-Horns-MRT-580-DI2The most outstanding feature of the Wings+Horns x New Balance is the structured upper in three parts based on the union of different premium leather panels, which are laser cut and perforated. The beige model has much more of a matt and velvety finish than the black Wings+Horns x New Balance with its shiny finish. In addition to this peculiar structure as well as details such as the play of different textures or holes in the front, the heel is particularly striking because of the embossed stitching that give it the appearance of being hand-stitched.

And if these details weren’t enough, we can keep going: the premium leather used is water-resistant, the laces are waxed and the inner lining is made of pig skin. There’s no way you can say that the Wings+Horns x New Balance aren’t premium.
