The best 5 adidas commercials

When we think about adidas, the slogan “impossible is nothing” pops into our heads. This motto perfectly conveys the values which the brind tries to be related to: self-improvement, sacrifice, hope… and they also come up in many of the brand’s commercials. Today we bring you our personal top 5 of adidas’ commercials.

5º: adidas Wrestling Commercial – Henry Cejudo

This commercial focuses on the daily effort that an elite sportsperson needs to make. Due to its high quality, it received an American Advertising Federation award. Olimpics medalist in wrestling Henry Cejudo stars on it.


4º: adidas – Nadia Comaneci

Nadia Comaneci was the first gymnast ever to score a perfect 10 in a performance. A historic achievment which she repeated 7 times as well. On this ad, where we can also see Beijing olimpic medalist Nastia Liukin, it is stated how high Nadia set the bar for future gymnasts, but it also reflects on how everything is possible.


3º: adidas – Emil Zatopek

Emil Zatopek is a running legend: with his peculiar style, he won the 5000, the 10000 and the marathon in the Helsinki olympic games, something that remains unmatched to this day. On this video adidas pays homage not only to his exceptional sports career, but also to his social commitment.


2º: adidas – Muhammed Ali

This is the commercial where adidas first used the slogan “impossible is nothing”, with Muhhamed Ali as an example. It conveys the need to believe in yourself, and how it is important to be determined to achieve your goals even if you lack the support of those around you.


1º: adidas – Laila Ali

Laila Ali embodies on this moving spot the essence of “impossible is nothing”: self-improvement, perseverance, setting goals whatever difficult to achieve they might seem… in conclusion: “impossible isn’t a fact, it’s an opinion”.
