adidas Equipment series: retro performance

At foot district we love all things retro, so we’re thrilled with the new adidas season. Today we want to talk about the series that adidas has been releasing since 1991 for professional athletes: the adidas Equipment, also known as adidas EQT.

All the sneakers in the EQT series were especially designed to improve athletes’ performance. The first to open the series was the adidas Equipment Racing, a running sneaker with an unexpected design. The cut-out toe box and the open mesh allow the foot to breathe, and the Torsion system featured on the mid foot area provides stability (as Alfonso showed us in this post).

At foot District you can find the adidas EQT Racing OG for women 2014, with a colourway that brings out the original and unassuming design of this classic sneaker: black and white, zebra print and electric blue details.

They are made up of suede and open mesh layers, honoring the original silhouette from 1991, and as a special detail they creature de adidas Equipment series logo embroidered on the heel.

The adidas Equipment Running Guidance 93 are other sneakers belonging to this fantastic high-performance footwear series. Released in 1993, their low profile and the characteristic mesh insertions soon turned them into a favorite from the adidas EQT series.

Expecting to receive new colourways, for the moment at foot District we can enjoy this black and yellow reissue. It features the original model technologies: Torsion System for a better movement control and EVA midsole, which provides light cushioning.

They come in mesh with suede overlays, and as an extra detail they also show the adidas Equipment series logo, embroidered on the heel and tongue.

What are you waiting for to enjoy these athlete-worthy sneakers? You can get them now at foot district! 🙂
