Air Jordan 1 Flyknit “Royal”

Air Jordan 1 Flyknit Royal

In a few ways, decking the Air Jordan 1 in some new and modern materials was inevitable. The brand had done an impressive job of making sure they preserved the OG’s quality (though that has been debatable among fans). But, when we consider models such as the Air Jordan 31 – combining rich leather with woven builds – the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit makes a lot of sense.

The woven material here takes on the whole upper, making for a noticeably lighter construction. It’s easy to imagine that a young MJ would’ve been soaring even higher in these back in his earlier NBA years. For our purposes though, it offers a unique look for a very popular model.

After we saw the Banned iteration get woven, we now get a look at the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit “Royal.” As with the previous release, the colorway is completely unchanged, including the contrasting White midsole. The Flyknit does add a different texture and detail to the Blue on this sneaker, much like it did with the Red of the Banned version.

It’s a modernized take a shoe that will forever be a classic among the sneakerhead community. Check it out now.
