Nike Air Huarache “City Pack”, the most urban Huaraches

In their 24th anniversary, many are talking about 2015 as the year of the Nike Air Huarache. Tinker Hatfield surprised the world by designing the Huarache with a silhouette that was completely futuristic at the time, and nowadays it is still a head-turner.

The aggressive shapes of the Nike Air Huarache are combined in this “City Pack” with colourways that draw inspiration from the underground trains in different european cities. At foot District we’re pleased to introduce two models from this pack: the Nike Air Huarache “London” and the Nike Air Huarache “Berlin”.

Let’s begin with the Nike Air Huarache “London”. Photo Blue and University Red cover the upper. This colour combination reminds us of the signs that show the names of the underground stations in the english city.

Blue covers the areas made of synthetic leather and mesh, while red is applied to the neoprene sock that makes this Nike Air Huarache perfectly fit the feet.

To improve support we have one of the main features of the Huarache: the rubber ankle strap, white on the sides and transparent on the back. The sole of the sneaker is see-through too, allowing you to see the word “London“, written in red on the midsole.

As to the Huarache “Berlin”, black and University Gold yellow are the chosen colours for the sneaker’s colourway.

Yellow appears on the neoprene while black covers the mesh and leather areas. In the Nike Air Huarache “Berlin” the support strap on the ankle is the same as in the “London”: transparent on the back and white on the sides.

The sole of the Nike Air Huarache “Berlin” is transparent too and allows us to see the name of the city in yellow.

These are hands down two of the best Huarache colourways of the year. If you want to get your pair, they are available now at foot District.
