Nike Roshe Run NM Black Safari: A legendary print

The Nike Roshe Run are one of the most successful models of the american brand, together with the timeless Nike Air Max. We had already introduced our Roshe collection in a post last week, but these new Nike Roshe Run NM Safari Print deserve a post of their own.

Together with “Pure White” sneakers, “Triple Black” models usually sell out really quick, and these black-on-black version of Nike’s most minimalistic sneaker is likely to do the same. But at Nike they didn’t settle for the triple black colourway: they added their classic Safari print, with a spectacular result.

This print was featured for the first time on the Nike Air Safari in 1987. Legendary designer Tinker Hatfield had seen a high-end ostrich sofa, and fought that applying that kind of exotic motif to footwear would be a good idea. He was right: since then, the already classic Safari print has been used on countless Nike models.

On this particular model, the print is featured as a texture on the whole upper of the sneaker, except on some details such as the swops or the laces. This print, together with high quality materials like leather, adds an exclusive touch to these Nike Roshe Run NM Safari Print.

And what does NM stand for? It means that these Roshe Run belong to the Natural Motion series. They feature a more streamlined design and Free technology on the sole, which provides better flexibility and comfort.

To sum up, a sober and combinable colourway, mixed with a legendary print and a comfortable design. What more can you ask for? Get them at our Nike store!
