Nike x Liberty 2015 Collection

It’s not the first time Nike collaborates with Liberty. In fact, we’ve grown accustomed to enjoy year after year the spectacular collections the american and english brand release.

The main characteristic of such collections are the prints the choose for the upper of each model. This season, the selected print for the Nike x Liberty 2015 collection is the so-called “Merlin”.

This print was designed by Liberty in 1972, and the first product to feature it was a silk scarf, which was only sold in their London galleries.

So far we’ve received four of the six models available from the pack, do you want to find out which?

Nike x Liberty WMNS Air Max Thea QS

Designed especially for the feminine audience, the Nike WMNS Air Max Thea draws inspiration from models like the Air Max 1, and the Merlin print is the perfect match for its silhouette.

These Nike’s slender lines and silhouette is topped off by the presence of the air chamber in the midsole, which provides outstanding cushioning.

Nike x Liberty WMNS Air Rift QS

Nike has a lot of plans for this model in summer. It’s striking silhouette turns the Nike x Liberty WMNS Air Rift QS into a very special model.

Just as the rest of the pack, the white neoprene upper comes to live thanks to the Merlin print.

The Nike Tennis Classic were first released back in 1982. Like their name suggests, they were intended for tennis practice.

Nike brought them back to complete this Liberty Collection, and upon their soft, synthetic silk upper the black Swoosh stands out.
