Foot District’s first seasonal editorial – FW19 – immerses us in a scenario in which the world of basketball is devoted to the fashion system through streetwear codes.
Foot District FW19 relies in storytelling by narrating the day of each basketball player from the end of the game, passing through the post-game break, until the moment that the press conference takes place. The shooting immortalizes them in different sets and places, reflecting the aesthetic versatility of the stars of the campaign. A set of sporty influences where primary colors and hip-hop are the main characters.
The creative director Alfredo Santamaría (@gothic__sport), is accountable for this outstanding project, in alliance with the photo team Enanei (@enanei) behind the camera. An unsurpassable triad that is completed with Foot District at the head, creating a high-end showcase of the most coveted trends of the current fashion scene.
The publisher decides to put upfront the camera the emblematic pieces of landmark brands of the scene. Nike, Stüssy, adidas, Kenzo, Norse Projects and Chinatown Market are neatly combined in each outfit giving us a polishing result which breaths sophistication and blurs the boundaries between streetwear and sportswear.
