After launching the adidas ZX 8000 by LEGO, now the Danish toy company is collaborating with Levi’s to enter the textile field. So now, they propose a complete look. The Levi’s x Lego collection consists of a series of pieces that invite you to customize, personalize and play with your garments under the motto Wereable Art.
Lego dives into the denim world with its new collaboration with Levi’s. The capsule reinterprets some of the most popular silhouettes from Levi’s archives, such as the 501 jeans or the Trucker Jacket. In the playful spirit of Lego, these pieces adopt a unique flexible plate with which you can create your own design. It is a small silicone panel in which you can place the Lego Dots pieces that include the garment label to your liking, a new style of building blocks that the company introduced months ago.
In the collection we also find other lifestyle garments such as the classic sweatshirt with or without a hood. This garment comes with an original colorblock design or in a more sober version. Each of these garments includes a bag with 110 Lego Dots mini-pieces and a yellow silicone plate. What is inside it is up to you. In addition, the rivets, patches and buttons also feature bright colors that remind us of popular toy bricks.
“This fun collaboration celebrates self-expression, creativity and nostalgia,” says Karyn Hillman, Levi’s chief product officer. It is, in his own words, something special and new “but undoubtedly familiar”. Thanks to this union, Levi’s “is now literally a new blank canvas to play with.”
