Rassvet, skate and design from Oktyabrskaya

Oktyabrskaya is a metro stop and a gathering place for skaters in Moscow. It's a meeting point for the most important designer of a generation, Gosha Rubchinskiy, and Tolia Titaev, one of the most influential figures in Russian skateboarding.

The alliance between them brought a new vision of Russian subcultures, starting with the name itself, which means "Dawn".

Rassvet and the dawn

Rassvet (pronounced "Rass-vyet" and sometimes written as PACCBET, linking to its Cyrillic script) is created from skate culture, with silhouettes reminiscent of 1990s New York but evolving as only a brand founded by Gosha Rubchinskiy could.

Its collections are inspired by artists, photographers, and illustrators from cultures close to skateboarding, but Rassvet has also collaborated with brands such as adidas, Levi's, Burberry, or Dr. Martens.

Rassvet at FOOTDISTRICT
