From its beginnings, the brand has cultivated a refined aesthetic that ranges from light tailoring to reimagined basics, always with premium finishes and cultural references deeply connected to Tokyo’s creative scene and beyond.

MASAFUMI WATANABE: A BIOGRAPHY IN CLOTHES

Masafumi Watanabe is a designer with a life as varied as his work. Raised in Tokyo and heavily influenced by American and British music, film, and fashion of the '80s and '90s, he started as a model and photographer before working at Tenderloin, one of the pillars of Japanese streetwear.

After living in London and absorbing the Savile Row tailoring tradition, Watanabe founded Bedwin alongside his friend Hideki Kimura. His goal: to create a “post-streetwear” brand that speaks to maturity without sacrificing authenticity. Bedwin & The Heartbreakers is the narrative of his personal journey, where each piece reflects his experiences, references, and creative evolution.
