Hokkaido, the island located in the north of Japan, is the birthplace of South2 West8, initially a store and later a brand located in the main city of the island, Sapporo, from which it takes its name.

Tenkara

Founded in 2002 as an independent store, the founder Kaname Nagaoka drew inspiration for his designs from the traditional approach to nature in Japan, with a specific focus on Tenkara fishing.

From the idea of an outdoor brand with high technical value, South2 West8 is heir to a Japanese culture of passion for nature that links with Heavy Duty and magazines that inspired several generations to create new trends.
