The history of Kappa

Founded in Turin in 1967, Kappa emerged as the evolution of a century-old Italian textile company with the aim of offering innovative and accessible sportswear. From its beginnings, the brand was linked to football and to disciplines that demanded both functionality and style, becoming a benchmark in sports fashion.

With the iconic Omini logo as its hallmark, featuring a man and a woman, Kappa has supported teams and athletes worldwide, forging a path that blends performance with a strong visual identity recognized internationally. Kappa dressed Juventus FC, the Italian national team, Athletic Club Bilbao, FC Barcelona and Real Betis Balompié, and revolutionized 1990s football with its Kappa Kombat kits. But the brand extended far beyond football: the U.S. athletics team also wore Kappa during the Los Angeles 1984 and Seoul 1988 Olympic Games, and the brand has appeared in other sports such as rugby and Formula 1.

Kappa Authentic

Kappa Authentic brings back the brand's legacy from a modern perspective. Inspired by the company's historical archive, this line blends football spirit with modern urban aesthetics, creating a unique and easily recognizable style.

The collection includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, trousers and polos that reflect the essence of Italian design, with a focus on quality materials and versatile cuts. It is a timeless proposal that connects sport with streetwear while keeping Turin’s heritage alive.
