At the age of three, grasping a golf club for the first time, Cole Young found his calling. Balancing academics with playing for the Loyola Marymount University team, he gained inside knowledge of the golf equipment industry.

Metalwood Studio was born on Instagram as a collage that summarized his fascination with the golf aesthetic of the nineties and early 2000s, featuring golfers in wide pleated pants, white visors, and unexpected sponsorships.

Metalwood represents a paradox—drawing on vintage inspiration but not reproducing vintage clothes, aiming for high-end quality without pretension, and crafting golf-related garments that can be worn anywhere.
