Jordan 1 Mid, created for Michael Jordan

Launched in 1985, the High and Low versions of the first Jordan were designed to fit Michael's game. Alongside designer Peter Moore, they sought different versions and heights that would allow greater freedom, in some cases with intermediate versions between High and Low that were never released.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid was an idea from the 2000s and was based on recovering some of the exclusive creations for Michael.

Air Jordan 1 Mid vs Jordan 1 High

The most obvious difference is the ankle height, lower in the Mid version, but you can also count the number of eyelets. In the Air Jordan 1 Mid, there are eight eyelets, instead of the 9 in the High, providing more freedom of movement and comfort. You can also find them in more colors and more accessible versions.
