Description
Based on an archive sneaker, the All Round, and a model created for SPZL, the Whalley SPZL, adidas now introduces the Roelee SPZL. It revisits the Whalley SPZL upper but takes it to a new level by swapping the gum sole developed for the Gazelle SPZL. This type of modification was not uncommon in the development of some of adidas' archival models.
The adidas Originals Roelee SPZL features a sole change that gives it a completely different look and feel from its predecessors, bringing it closer to the All Round shoes that originally inspired the Whalley SPZL. A suede tongue with co-branded branding print and a deliberately mismatched green lining inside the collar add a distinctive touch. The Roelee SPZL comes with an extra set of laces.
