The adidas Originals SPZL Mendacino reinterpret the aesthetics of the 1974 adidas California by incorporating a rubber-finished toe cap reinforcement inspired by a little-known Japanese model found by the collection's curator, Gary Aspden. This detail, tonally integrated over the suede, adds a functional and visual dimension without disrupting the design's harmony. The result is a subtle evolution that
