adidas SPZL reinterprets some obscure models from adidas' history and transforms them into contemporary items with their own story. In this case, the inspiration comes from the adidas Squire made in the Philippines under license, which served as the base to create new lines built from a new outsole.
The adidas Originals SPZL Pampanga combines the style of traditional 70s runners with that of training shoes, reflecting the design language of the era before advanced running technologies started to evolve. The black/white color palette with blue accents was chosen for its ease of pairing with apparel, while the sneakers come with a secondary set of black laces. The revised design of the upper departs from the original, creating a more streamlined and contemporary model.
